How much do you know about your Credit History,
Credit
Bureaus and Credit Restoration?
Most people are not aware that there are a total of three Credit Bureaus that
Banks, Finance Companies, Collection Agencies, Courts, etc…report credit information
to create credit history. What they are reporting can be good or bad credit which
of course depends on how you pay your bills. If you are late making a payment
that Company can report that as a late payment to all three Bureaus. If you do
not pay a bill, whether it is a doctor, cable, video store, Attorney, etc….that
Company will charge that amount off of their records, which is referred to as
a “charge-off” and then sends the bill to a Collection Agency. So now you not
only have a charge-off on your credit history, the Collection Agency will now
report the same information but as a “Collection” to all three Bureaus. These
are just a few ways that your good credit turns into negative credit.
When negative information is reported to the Credit Bureaus, it decreases
your Fico Score which is not something you want to happen. The
higher your fico scores the better chances you have at quicker
response times for approval on loans, lower interest rates which
means a lower monthly payment. When your scores go down, you start
seeing slower response times for approval on loans or possible
credit denials; if you are approved it will be at a higher interest
rate which means higher monthly payments.
We at PRC Credit Restoration understand that things happen; just
because you have negative credit does not mean you are a person that
does not pay their bills. There is always those unforeseen circumstances
that none of us can predict. That is where we come in; PRC works
with Credit Bureaus on a daily basis and we want to help you turn
that negative/derogatory credit back into positive credit and restore
your credit back to the way it was or to where it could be.
If you sign up with us, we work with all three Credit Bureaus and
will order your credit report s from all three Bureaus on your behalf.
Upon receipt we will review all items on the reports and go over
everything with you line by line. The reason for this is because
not all items will be on each report, because all Companies do not
report to all three Credit Bureaus, therefore, we do not want to
dispute something that is not there. We will then start disputing
the negative items with the Credit Bureaus by sending them “dispute
letters” on your behalf. If the Credit Bureaus respond back that
they will not remove or update what we are requesting, then we go
direct to the Creditor to dispute it. Our goal is to get these items
updated to a better status or totally removed. By updating or removing
the negative from your history, it will increase your fico scores.
Depending on the how many items you have on your history and what
these items are to dispute will depend on how long this process can
take. Typically you can see progress in as little as 30 days from
the date we send out your dispute letters, but to totally restore
your credit it can take anywhere from 3 months on up to a year.
We will advise you how to maintain your credit as well, so as you
can see we keep working with you even after your credit is restored.
We will also go over what you can do to help increase your fico scores
while we are working on restoring your credit. There are a lot of
other items an underwriter or Credit Card Company, etc…will look
at on your credit to make the final decision on whether or not they
will approve you for a loan or credit card.
I am sure you are asking how much this type of program costs? When
you look at the fees, keep in mind we are working via mail and email
with all 3 credit bureaus and creditors on your behalf on a daily
basis. This can be very time consuming and tedious and a lot of people
just simply do not have the time or do not want to take time away
from their family or friends. So, let us clear your evenings and
weekends so you can use the time you would spend on restoring your
credit, with your family and friends.
Our fees are $595.00/per person or $995.00/per couple, now break that down per credit bureau….that would be less than $200.00 for each credit bureau. There are Companies out there that charge a fee to get started, and then you pay a monthly fee until your credit is restored. There are also Companies that have different servicing plans, and although the cost may appear to be less, you need to look at the fine print as to what that plan includes, they may only dispute certain items for that plan, and then you would have to go to the next plan which only covers so much. We cover it all…and never ask you for another penny, whether we work with you for 3 months or a year. And remember, we offer a 100% money back guarantee!
